Ritual: Socratic Hotseat

Event Description
Religion has guided and divided humanity for millennia. But is its essence control or liberation? Some experience religion as restricting freedom, while others see it as a path of release and transcendence.

In this Socratic Hotseat ritual, we will:

1. Place one participant at a time in the “hotseat.”

2. Others pose probing but respectful questions.

3. The person reflects, surfacing assumptions and insights.

4. Rotate hotseat roles for multiple perspectives.

5. Close with group reflections on religion as both control and liberation.
